i've been re-thinking about what to say when jw's come knockin'.

i've thought about what the scriptures say about jesus' words to the pharisees and think perhaps i might say, "i don't have any interest in the doctrines and writings of the scribes and pharisees of the wts.".

or maybe i could just say, "yall're just wts nazis and you look down on everyone else as if they were jews during wwii, so i'd prefer not to converse with you.".

brother smith had been missing from the kingdom hall for weeks and we decided it would be best to pay him a visit and see if it he was okay.

ever since the death of his wife and daughter in that car accident last year, he had gone from an active pioneer and elder to someone we only saw from time to time.

yet three weeks was way more time then any of us had ever seen, and we were worried.

Frannie, unfortunately, you can't see the best part of the dress, which is the hem line. I think I recall it being scalloped with a ribbon through it. The movie is definitely worth watching. I think if I had to pick a favorite movie, To Sir With Love would be it. The dress could be refined more, with a more delicate yarn and so on. Of course it either has to be lined or had to have a slip dress made for wearing under it.

If I really had the desire and means to screw with dubs at the door, I'd show up naked and invite them in to help with the sacrifice. In the middle of the living room, I'd have lit candles in the shape of a pentagram. In the middle, I'd have a smurf doll.

it was about 15 years ago.......... i was at a one day special event in woodburn or.

i was talking to lyman swingle about how the society could save some money.

it was a crazy idea ( to crazy to relate here)...............anyway he laughed and said to me.. "brother..........we have always had the money to do the things we needed to do.......and if we didn't.......we felt it was god's holy spirit telling us, it wasn't what we should be doing".......so...i said "so the money is like a barometer, no approval, no money"......he said "yea..... i guess you could say that!

Awwww, what a nice hug and greeting. Lot's of stress, but good things happening as well.
I've been reading all about Universalism or Universal Salvation. I discovered I already believe this since I was a kid, but I didn't realize all the angels would be included, too. The more I read, the more I love it.
I haven't had a chance to use it, but I will when I get the chance. See, when they ask you what the hell you're talking about, tell them to look it up on line: Universalism or Universal Salvation. By the way, many early church fathers taught this. And the beauty of it is, it's biblically backed.

Ya sweetie patootie! You just make me smile or give me the chuckles with lots of your posts. I'm kind of inclined to think the same way where that type of salvation is concerned. I really can't see a loving omnipotent deity killing off his own creation/children.

I'll be interested to know how yours works when you get the opportunity to use it, chere. Lemme know, eh?

As for me, I'm just here with CP, but I've located a publishing company that offers to pay royalty advances for crocheted designs and their patterns that they accept for publishing, so I'm working resolutely on getting my crocheted designs and such off the ground. It's taking more time than I would like but I'm a little rusty and there's been a lot of new techniques to learn to keep up to snuff.
